[REVIEW] Peri Pera Peri's Milky Tint #2 Milky Peach and Innisfree Eco Fruit Tint #2 Juicy Orange

Hey everybody! As promised, here's another review. It's been too long since I last made one. Haha! So for today I'll be doing a review on two lip tints that I always use. They're the Peri Pera Peri's Milky Tint in #2 Milky Peach and Innisfree Eco Fruit Tint in #2 Juicy Orange. I got them both from Han Ryu. She sells alot of Korean Cosmetics but better be quick because her stocks don't last long. Haha

So those are the two lip tints. Generally, lip tints are drying so putting on lip balm is a must! So, under this lip it my Vaseline Lip Therapy. You could check out my review here if you haven't seen it yet or perhaps you're interested.

 

 So let's start with the review! First is the Peri Pera Peri's Milky Tint in #2 Milky Peach. I was hesitant to buy this because the physical color looks so....how should I say this? Scary? I don't know the proper term but yeah, something like that. I always wanted to buy Korean Lip Tint so I searched the internet on some reviews on the particular product. I bought it for Php270.00. It came in a box but I think I already threw it so no picture. Haha. I believe they have more color selections.

Packaging:
See how orange the bottle is? Isn't it so scary?! But yeah, it's just the bottle. It's not transparent so that's not the real color of the product.

On the cap, you'd see the design. Isn't it so cute?

The Brand is also printed on the side of the design.

At the bottom part, you'd see the shade number. Well, in hangul though. Haha. But yep, it also shows how much it has and how long you should use it.

Product:

It came in a sponge-tip or doe-foot applicator. Whatever you call it.

It's not really clear but the product as you have it on the applicator is orange. Milky orange. It is opaque.

So here's how it looks when I put it on the back of my hands. I didn't blend it because it wouldn't show anyway. I think lip tints don't usually show aside from your lips or fingers.

Isn't the color so pretty? Well, not my lips. Haha. My lips are cracking because of the weather. The color is really pretty peachy color hence the name Peach. I find milky tint more moisturizing than that of the water tints. It has a sweet scent but behind that scent is a bitter taste. Yes, a really bitter taste. But aside from that, I think Php 270 is worth it. The tint lasts for more than an hour with drinking and eating and frequent lip biting in my case.

Ok, next would be the Innisfree Eco Tint in Juicy Orange. I've been eyeing on this lip tint for the longest time. I always wanted to get an orange lip tint and I'm glad I was able to get this. It costs Php 220.00 from Han Ryu.

Packaging:

Ok, I really like the packaging. It is simple. I love simple stuffs. Unlike the Peri Pera Milky Tint, it didn't came in a box but it was sealed.

The barcode is printed to the seal with some hangul printed that I couldn't understand. 

Attached to the seal, it is extended until the upper part of the cap which depicts the shade of the lip tint, in this case, it is orange.

At the back of the bottle, you could see the shade and product information written in Hangul.

Product:

Just like the Peri Pera Milky Tint, it came with a sponge-tip applicator. As you can see, it looks a little bit reddish. 

So above is the swatch of the product, you could probably tell that it is really a orange tint. But as you could also notice, it followed the fine lines of the back of my hand. The consistency is a watery-syrupy.

As I have said a while ago, my lips are cracking. As I was putting this on, I felt a little sting on it but it quickly went away. The color is orange most probably. The thing I don't like about this product is it settles on my cracked lips. It smell like an orange juice and luckily, it doesn't taste bitter. It's almost tasteless. It lasts for about 3 hours with eating and drinking plus frequent lip biting.

To sum it up, I love both products. But when my lips are dry, I avoid using the Innisfre' Eco Tint because it is more drying. The Peri Pera Milky Tint are more glossy while the Innisfree Eco Tint are more matte.

I'd love to repurchase these products when I finish them. Lip tint is my "go-to" product. Go check this out if you want to have a lip tint. Staying power may be too short, but you could always go and reapply if needed.

[UPDATE] Why no new posts?!!

Ok, seriously, I was really busy. I'm a third year pharmacy student and I have a hard time on my first semester. Damn those subjects. I still have unfinished exams so...uhmm. yeah. haha. But since it's already semestral break (I don't feel it though since I still have 2 exams left for next week), I'll be doing review next week so look out for that. I'll be doing review on my newly purchased lip tint/s. I'm not sure if I'll be making reviews for both but we'll see when we get there.

[REVIEW] VASELINE Lip Therapy

Hey guys! So here's another review on a lip product. When I was walking through the lip counters in Watsons, where they sell Lip Smacker, Lip Ice, Baby Lips, Chapstick etc., I found this product, the Vaseline Lip Therapy. I wasn't originally buying this but I realized that I needed one because my lips always gets chapped and normally it would last for a week! So, I decided to grab this one. They had it in two kinds: the original one and the Cherry one. I go the Cherry one because I'm obsessed with lip products that has scent and taste.

It came in a small tube at 10g. It came in with it's red cap which is a "screw-like" cap and with a very simple label which I actually like. At the back portion, you could actually see complete labeling information. It has the Active Ingredient, Use, Warning, Inactive Ingredients, Contact Numbers, Manufacturing details and I think they also have the Batch Number. It's a huge plus for me! Though it didn't come in it's expiration date, I don't really care. I know it's important. It's a Vaseline we're talking about! They have the same active ingredient, the White Petrolatum, USP. Our Vaseline Petroleum Jelly lasts forever by the way. So, when you open the "screw-like" cap, you'll see the opening of the product. The "portal of exit" of the product. I find it really unique because most of the lip products that came in a tube came in a slanted flat tip to dispense the product but this one is actually round-headed! I find it so cool!!

The product just mainly contains White Petrolatum, USP just like the usual Vaseline. Well, I could say that they're definitely the same. The main reason that I bought is because I know that Petroleum Jelly works best on your lips. I know, why shouldn't I have the petroleum jelly on my lips then? Well, because 1) I believe that every product is made for a purpose and this is product is made especially for the lips! 2) It is so handy. 3)Petroleum jelly gets really messy on my hands as I get a product. With this I could just pop it outside my bag and place small amount of the product on my forefinger and place them on my lips while my teacher is discussing without them knowing that I'm already applying my lip therapy. It came in as a clear and colorless lip product.

I actually like this very much. I use them at least twice a day. I use it after I do my skincare routine even before I sleep. My lips get chapped on the summer. I know, most people have their lips chapped at winter or cold season but I actually have them when it's hot. It usually takes too long to treat it but with this, I think it made wonders on me. It might not instantly work for a day but it gets better! I make sure that this product is in my beauty essential kit on my bag. I need them! I like the fact that it doesn't have color. I know it said on the packaging that it is Cherry, and I assure you it is. It tastes and smells like cherries! I also actually use this product as my base when applying my lip tints because they'll look better. They'll look more vibrant. So yeah. This one could be one of my "products that I couldn't live without" alongside with my Caladryl Lotion.

Anyway, it's not that long lasting but i actually love it. I know some reviewers would say, "Oh, you're just putting a wax on your lips." But mind you, it's actually does it jobs on me. Some people might prefer the chapstick but I actually like this better. It costs me more or less Php75.00 I think? I don't remember pretty well but yeah, they're good on my opinion.

[REVIEW] AIDO Magic Lipstick

Magic Lipstick is actually a color changing lipstick. They have different vibrant color (yellow, blue, violet, orange) on the outside but when you swatch it on your lips, it would turn into a very pretty color. I first heard it from my mom when I was a little bit younger. She had this golden lipstick that I was always afraid to use but then I later realize that it turns to a bold red color.

Now, back in the recent time. South Korea has recently been bringing out color changing balms. I think Tony Moly has one with a black kitty on it's cap. Philippines have their own version and retained "Magic Lipstick" as a name. I've seen Careline (which I was so tempted to buy), Ever Bilena (which I absolutely like) and I've seen Aido (which I'm going to review right now).

This came in three shades/flavors. I got the number 2 shade because it is yellow and I was hoping that it would look as good as my Ever Bilena one  (I have it in Lemon btw). They didn't have the tester so I was a little bit hesitant to buy. But because of it's cheap price Php50, I told to myself that it wouldn't waste a lot of money right?

The packaging came in a clear plastic with the brand name and some sparkly print on the top part. I actually really love the packaging. It is so simple which I usually like and it really looks good. The shade number is printed in a clear sticker.

Isn't it so pretty?

The product. I hate to admit it but I really hate it. Not to sound rude or anything but the smell itself made me not use it on my lips. It smells like chemicals that I would probably be using on my laboratory exercises in school for Inorganic Medicinals. Okay, I'll give you a hint on how it smells. It smells so like a muriatic acid, the concentrated one. Yes guys, the thing that you probably use when you're cleaning your bathrooms. I never had the courage to bring this near my lips because of the irritating smell and I was worried that I would be putting muriatic acid on my lips. Agh! I don't know if it's just the product that I have but...I expected too much. I actually swatched it on the back of my hands and it looked so pretty. But...I needed to get a sanitizer and alcohol to remove the smell of it.

Eww! My hand looks so flaky and yuck! I sincerely apologize.

I wish they made it smell a little bit better because I actually like the color. I don't know if every magic lipstick of Aido are the same but here's the Lot number and manufacturing date of the product in my hands.

To sum it up. I hate this product. I try so hard to put this on my lips but the smell is really strong. I hate products that has unwanted smell on it, especially this one. This is actually my worst buy ever since I started collecting make up. I wouldn't recommend it especially if the products are all the same.

[REVIEW] SAN SAN Waterproof Mascara

Hey readers! It's been so long since I posted a review here in my blog. Today, since I'm not busy with school, I'm going to do one. So, today's product's gonna be San San Waterproof Mascara with Vitamins A, C, E.

So, I got mine in black. I originally wanted the clear one but I didn't know what got me to get the black one instead. I seriously don't have any idea.

The packaging is in blue metallic color. It's actually pretty light and thin and the shade or color is just printed in a black sticker paper at the bottom of the bottle.

If you're looking for a great mascara for starters like me, then I could recommend this for you. There are better drugstore brand mascaras out there but this one does its's job too. It smells powdery and I don't know if that's a good thing for everybody but I'm not actually bothered by it.

The formula isn't heavy. Actually, it feels light and it didn't dry out on me yet! Can you believe it? I bought this on a sale I think last January but it still of the same quality. I know they say that you should change your mascara after 3 months but.. pfft! I don't use it everyday anyway.

The wand is curved with bristles on it. I absolutely love the wand because it made it easier for me to apply. I have the Ever Bilena with silicone brush and I would always find myself poking my eyes. Seriously!

As long as it dries on your lashes, it would stay long. I never experienced any smudges like other mascaras that I have tried. It claims to be waterproof. I'm not actually sure. But what I'm sure of is that when you're just using to wipe it off, then, you'll be having a hard time. It does smudge though when you try to remove it with water. So I don't think that makes it waterproof but maybe a water resistant.

My experience: My lashes are naturally long (my elder sister's lashes are longer though) so I just apply a thin coat on it. It doesn't feel so heavy and I don't think it makes my lashes "spidery".

Personally, I liked it very much. I actually use this few times at school too. I don't need much volume and length because I don't really need it.

I actually forgot how much it costs but I believe it's more or less Php100. I'm not exactly sure on the price.

[LIFE] The cause of my depression

WARNING!
Long textual content ahead. Boring story about me ahead.

These past few days I've been really stressed or should I say depressed. I was even thinking that maybe I'm already sick. When I was younger I've never felt that I existed. I always felt that I'm just a "ghost" floating around everywhere. I always thought that I was just in someone's dream or even, I'm on my own dream. This year, I tried to open up to some of my friends. They feel a little bit worried and asked me to see a specialist but I never did because I just feel like it. I tried to open up to a family member.. But I felt more depressed. I was hoping for a better reaction but i over-estimated.

Then, someone from our family came home from abroad. I thought he would be staying with us... It turned out that more than half of his stay here in the Philippines, he's with his new family. Okay, let's be real. I'm talking about my father. I know it's so wrong to feel mad to him but I can't help it. He told us that he'll come home to us on the 25th but he ended up coming home on the 27th. Mind you, his flight will be on the 30th. When he came home would he expect me to be happy? Haven't he thought that I'm in pain? I actually even thought that "Ah, I would be okay if wouldn't even show up before he leaves."

I admit, I'm not in best terms with my father, but I do love him but I was in too much pain because of some revelations. I know this is too personal, and this blog is supposed to be beauty related stuffs but I can't help it because I might explode any moment now if I don't let this out. What pains me really was that he kept his second marriage a secret. I know this going way too personal but I can't help it. No one's even gonna read it. Fine. He kept it a secret. But why is it that we were the last one to know? I know, he would bring his wife to our house but he never told us that she was his wife. Tricycle drivers from our town knows that they're married. Wow. Unbelievable.

We learned it when his wife was pregnant. Now, another thing that made me think too hard. My father let my younger sister be adopted by aunt but he made another baby. Isn't that a little bit insulting? Wouldn't my younger sister feel bad about it? Wouldn't she hate us when she'll realize it? Me and my eldest sister still communicate with my younger sister. But wouldn't we be the "Tres Marias" when she's here? Would I have someone by my side to listen to my stories? My heart is in pain for her. I know, she's with her new family and she knows us as her biological sister. But would she take it to heart like the way I do?

My family is the most important thing in my life. When someone hurts them, you're hurting me most. There was one time my uncle received a text message from someone. Let's be a little bit more specific. My father's wife. I don't know the exact text message the she sent her really hurts. My father would always give me his phone before he leaves few years ago but I would always end up regretting it after reading some conversations. I know it's wrong to read someone else's messages but it's not time for me to explain myself. I saw their conversation and it hurts me inside that she's saying bad things about my mother's sister and my aunt my father tried to fight for my relatives though...

Right now, I'm crying on my cousin's bed because they're sleeping in my room because as I have said a while ago, my father came home with his wife and their son, my brother. His wife treats us well but I'm not really sure if she's showing her real self. You couldn't blame after reading her text messages about my relatives right? I, too feel so bad about it. But let's just see how it goes.

I was actually expecting to gain weight this summer and I actually thought that I'm already gaining some but it turned out that I was actually loosing some weight. Maybe I was too stressed and I'm just holding on to my friends and my relatives who keeps on supporting us. I'm really sorry for my dramatic life. My friend actually sees me as a jolly girl. But as they say, behind a girl's smile is their sad life. I'll continue hanging on as much as I can for those people who actually loves me.

DISCLAIMER: I don't hate my father. I seriously love him. I just seriously trust every single person too much that it hurts me when they don't do the same. I just take everything to heart that's why little things made me so stressed out and depressed. Sorry for being too dramatic.

[HAUL] Ebay Haul!

So! I've been eyeing on a certain products for the longest time but I couldn't have them in my hands because there were no stores anywhere in my vicinity that sells Korean products. Yup, you got that right. I've been eyeing on Korean products for the longest time. So, I decided to get them through online. This was actually my first time buying online and I'm really excited about them. Luckily, I found bhappywithme and BIGTOKYO on Ebay. You could probably check them out to look for items especially for those people who are in a place where we couldn't get Korean products. Well, you see, I tried to find it on multiply, but I couldn't find what I've been looking for.

Anyways, these items are actually my very first Korean cosmetic. The package came in today and I'm really happy. It actually made my day. Let's look through the package from bhappywithme since it came in first.

Wah! Almost there. It was also wrapped into a bubble wrap which I absolutely love!

So yeah! I'm really obsessed with bubble wraps so I kinda popped them out first before moving forward. You could probably see the products already and I myself got really excited with this. I could see a bunny sneaking out! keke~

So let's start first with the right portion, the Tony Moly Mini Tint in #1 Cherry. I've been really obsessed with lip and cheek tint this past few months so I decided to buy it. It's just the sample size so basically, it is really small.

Next would be Tony Moly Petite Gloss Bar #3 Juicy Apple. Petite Gloss bars have been the apple of my eye since I saw them on Youtube and I was really desperate to get it. Seriously, I went to Ebay just for these item. I originally wanted to get the #6 Juicy Orange, but she doesn't really have it right now. I actually checked on Tony Moly's list of products and this was way more expensive than the one on Ebay.

Moving on, I got another shade of Tony Moly Petite Gloss Bar which is #5 Juicy Peach. At first I thought this was the #6 Juicy Orange but then realized that it's not. As I have said, I've been eyeing on this product for the longest time. The packaging was really cute and I just can't resist them.

So that's everything that I got from bhappywithme. Well they're all Tony Moly lip products. Seriously, I wanted to get other stuffs but I ended up buying only lip products from Tony Moly.

Well, actually, the same trend happened with my purchase for BIGTOKYO. They're all skin care products on the same brand and on the same line. You gotta be kidding me! Well, you see, they actually sell cheaper stuffs and yeah. Sadly, the package from them was delayed. Well, it was actually a 2-3 day shipping and the crew from JRS was really mean. They're not friendly at all. :( Anyway, I got the package today a day after I got my package from LBC. Well anyway, I got it today..
